WITH Christmas just two days away, shopping malls, hotels and of course homes of Christians are decked with Christmas trees and decorations.
Santa Clauses and Santarinas are out at the malls to rope in the crowd and hopefully get window shoppers to part with their money.
However, there has not been much cheer around as most, if not everyone, ponders about the future ahead as the world heads towards a recession.
“Will I lose my job?” is the question some would have on their minds.
“What’s ahead for the stock markets? Will my company see through the new year? What about my bonuses?” are the other questions.
Indeed, tough times and uncertainties are ahead.
